Below are media projects documenting some of the stops of my personal odyssey.
Based on the graffiti background and accessory Galek is wearing, attempt to decipher which of the ancient 12 Olympian Greek Gods we are trying to represent.
While studying Homer's poem, The Odyssey, the students of TGS, went on their own Odyssey though the Ionian Sea. Although our journey was only five days, compared to Odysseus' twenty years, we still had a wondrful adventure and were able to experience the culture of the Greek islands.
As the saying goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words," but this is a picture of a word, which has a thousand meanings.
I also compare the terms journey and odyssey according to our TGS experience.
I have taken some of my photographs from the first weXplore and Greece and paired eacho one with a quote about exploration.
After creating our own God based on the existing Ancient Greek Gods, we built our own sculptures out of clay.
