We used our iPhones and iPads to document our adventure. Every day, I took pictures and made little sketches. After hiking up a mountain and having a panoramoral view of the island, we resketched Ithaca. In the end, we created a map of the journey and included pictures of the activities we did at those stops. We island hopped from Lefkada, Ithaca, Kefalonia, and Zakinthos each night, docking at different ports and exploring different towns. Early into the trip, we discovred that because it is not prim tourist season, the entire town shuts down at two in the afternoon for a siesta, but they never open back up. This forced us to be creative to have fun or just take the time to relax on the boat.
